Why a pomegranate, and for whom

About Anar

درباره

Our celebrations are built on centuries of poetry, hospitality and sacred tradition. Whether we are coordinating a modern Sofreh Aghd with your family's designer, running a high-energy Mehndi and Sangeet to the minute, or blending cultures across a multi-day celebration, we bring a fresh, editorial eye to the traditions that matter most.

A letter from the founder

Why I started Anar

In our families, a wedding is never two people.

It is parents, grandparents, the whole table.

I started Anar so those families can plan in calm.

We ask how your family observes each tradition.

Keep the soul. Redefine the style.

On the day, you only have to be there.

What anar means

Anar is the pomegranate: hundreds of seeds, held in one fruit. It sits on the sofreh aghd and on the Yalda table. For our families, it means family and plenty.

Honoring the roots. Elevating the vibe.

A pomegranate tree at night, fruit on the branch
The tree. Roots that stay.
A pomegranate held in an open hand
The fruit. One, held with care.
An opened pomegranate, seeds packed tight
The seeds. Hundreds, in one fruit.

What we promise
