Five steps on one line

How we work

روش کار ما

One plan, one person to call, nothing to chase. We plan with your family, ritual by ritual, and we run the day.

Three ways to work with us

One plan. One person to call.

  • Full planning

Begins once your proposal is signed · the first conversation is free

One plan from the first meeting to the thank-you card: the budget, the venue and vendors, the rituals in order, and the wedding events agreed in your proposal, run by your planner.

    What is included
    • Your budget tracked, line by line, once planning begins.
    • Venue and vendor shortlist, booking support, and contract review covering planning requirements and vendor logistics.
    • Planning decisions scheduled ritual by ritual, with a short written summary after each meeting.
    • One written plan: the rituals in order, the days, the price and what is included. Parents' pages in the language agreed in your proposal; translation and spoken support confirmed before booking.
    • We run the events and hours agreed in your proposal: one timeline, called with the venue and every vendor; elders' seats held.
  • Wedding-day coordination

Begins 6–8 weeks before the first event · we run the days you have planned

Your family has planned already; we read every booking, confirm every time and run the days.

    What is included
    • The events, hours and staffing we take on, named up front.
    • The handover lists outstanding tasks and agrees who completes them, with a date.
    • Every contract, contact and time in it read and confirmed with the venue and every vendor.
    • One timeline for every day, with the sofreh key or the programme checked against your family's wishes.
    • On the days: elders greeted first, the officiant and family cued, our staff easy to find. You only have to be there.
  • Selected-event planning

Begins once your proposal is signed · one or two events of a multi-day celebration, quoted the same way

We plan the one or two events you choose, such as the sofreh, the nikah or the mehndi: the budget for those events, venue and vendor sourcing and booking support, then we run those days. Already have a venue coordinator for the main day? We agree who runs what, in writing. Quoted to the events, days and staffing it covers.

    What is included
    • The events we take on, named up front: which days, which ceremonies, which hours and the staffing for each.
    • The budget for those events, tracked line by line once planning begins.
    • Venue and vendor sourcing for those events, booking support, and contract review covering planning requirements and vendor logistics.
    • A written split of responsibilities with the venue's coordinator: who runs the venue's day, who runs the family ceremonies and each additional event.
    • One timeline for the events we run, called with the venue and every vendor, joined to the venue coordinator's own; the rituals in order, the officiant and the family cued, the sofreh key or the programme checked against your family's wishes.
    • Elders' seats held at every event we run, and a short written summary after each meeting.

The five steps

  1. 01 · Inquiry

    Write to us, or call.

    درخواست

Tell us about your family and your dates. We reply within one business day.

  2. 02 · Consultation

    First, we hear your priorities.

    مشاوره

We meet your family, greet the elders first, and listen. We ask how your family observes each tradition. Parents and elders included at the level your family agrees together. The couple approves ceremony and personal choices; whoever is paying approves spending.

    • Guest needs: seating, mobility and quiet-space needs for the elders and guests, planned from this meeting on.
    • Parent involvement: your family tells us who joins each meeting and how much the parents decide, and we keep to it.
  3. 03 · Proposal

Here is the plan, the price, and what is included.

    پیشنهاد

A short proposal with the rituals in order, the days, the price and exactly what is included: the events covered, the staffing, the hours and the fees, before anything is booked.

    • Decision approvals: written down as agreed at the consultation: the couple approves ceremony and personal choices, whoever is paying approves spending, and together we agree which updates each family receives.
    • Parents' pages in the language agreed in your proposal; translation and spoken support confirmed before booking.
    • Date reservation: a signed proposal and the deposit hold your dates; an inquiry or consultation does not.
  4. 04 · Planning

Ritual by ritual, as your family keeps it.

    برنامه‌ریزی

We plan each ceremony as your family keeps it: the ceremonies your family chooses, in the order agreed with your family. A short written summary follows every meeting, in English, with the parents' page in the language agreed in your proposal.

  5. 05 · The wedding days

Your ceremonies are ready. Your family is welcomed.

    روزهای عروسی

One timeline, called with the venue and every vendor. Elders' seats held, the officiant and family cued, every sign named in your proposal coordinated with your printer and the venue. When a sofreh is chosen, for example, the spread is checked against the sofreh key (a one-page guide naming each item on the spread, in the languages named in your proposal) before the elders are seated. Our staff are easy to find for every event and hour we run. You only have to be there. Afterwards: the thank-you card, as named in your proposal, the files handed over, and one last call to close the plan.

Questions families ask

Eight answers

Our two families come from different cultures. Can you plan both?

Yes. Persian, Afghan and South Asian weddings are what we do, and mixed-heritage couples are welcome. We blend cultures across a multi-day celebration without diluting either: each ritual stays as that family keeps it.

Do you plan the whole wedding, or only run the day?

Both, and the ground between. Full planning begins once your proposal is signed and runs to the thank-you, with the wedding events agreed in your proposal run by your planner; the first conversation is free. Wedding-day coordination begins 6–8 weeks before the first event: you have planned already, we run the days you have planned. Selected-event planning begins once your proposal is signed and plans one or two events of a multi-day celebration (their budget, venue and vendor sourcing and booking support), then runs those days, with the split of responsibilities agreed in writing when a venue's own coordinator runs the main day. We say which fits on the first call, with the price and what is included.

How early should we write?

As soon as you have a season in mind. Multi-day weddings fill venues and vendors early, and the best dates near Nowruz go first. Writing early costs nothing; we reply within one business day.

Will you work with our parents directly?

Yes. Parents and elders included at the level your family agrees together. Elders are greeted first and asked, not told. Parents' pages in the language agreed in your proposal; translation and spoken support confirmed before booking.

Which languages do you plan in?

Planning runs in English. Parents' pages in the language agreed in your proposal (Persian, Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi or another you name); translation and spoken support confirmed before booking. For calls and meetings in another language, tell us which one.

Our ceremony is at a gurdwara, mandir or masjid. Who coordinates it?

We do, with the venue's own staff. Before the day we confirm with the gurdwara, mandir or masjid and your officiant the arrival times, what the house asks of guests, where the photographer may stand and when the hall must be clear, and on the day we keep to its order. When the reception is at a second venue, the move between the two and the evening run on the same timeline, under the same plan, with the staffing for each named in your proposal.

Where do you work?

The San Francisco Bay Area: the city, the East Bay and the Peninsula, the South Bay and Silicon Valley, and Wine Country (Napa and Sonoma). For a wedding further afield, write to us and we will tell you plainly whether we can.

What does it cost?

Every proposal is priced to the events, days and staffing it covers. Full planning, selected-event planning and wedding-day coordination are quoted after the first conversation.
